Angeline June (Woznick) Dunlap

October 20, 1930 — March 22, 2022

Angeline "June" Dunlap (Woznick), 91, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on March 22, 2022, following a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born on October 20, 1930 in Green Bay and grew up in Maribel, Wisconsin. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc on June 9, 1948.

June entered the secretarial field right out of high school and held many coveted positions in that arena during the course of her lifetime. She was the secretary for Commander Blue in the US Navy shortly after she graduated. She worked for federal, state and city government agencies. She was the personal secretary for a longtime member of the Green Bay Packers board of directors. In her later years, she received training in the medical field, and worked as a medical transcriptionist for the Marshfield Clinic, Gunderson Health Systems, and American Medical Security Insurance until her retirement in 1996.

June had a smile that would light up a room and was a social butterfly. She loved spending time with her friends and family. She was an accomplished pianist who had the gift of being able to play the piano by ear. She could hear almost any song and play it without sheet music. She entertained many throughout the years with her astounding gift. She also loved to travel and escape Wisconsin winters. She traveled with both of her husbands to Hawaii, on cruises all around the world and to numerous statewide destinations. She was a member of the P.E.O. chapter in Marshfield, Wisconsin and volunteered through her church and San Luis Manor nursing home in Green Bay. She loved to read, sew, craft and bake. She was also part of a special group of lifelong friends deemed the "Golden Girls."

June married her first husband, William Woznick, on October 11, 1952. They were married for 29 years and went on to have three daughters. She later divorced and married her second husband, Howard Dunlap, on June 9, 1984, and acquired a step-son, Bruce Dunlap. They remained married for 30 years until Howard's passing in September, 2014.

June is survived by her three children, Cherie, (Chris Hall), Lisa, (John Krueger), and Jodi (Aurel Goglin) and her stepson, Bruce Dunlap. Her grandchildren, Jamie, (Ken Mauer), and Nathan, Austin and Dylan Goglin, and her great-grandchildren, Gretchen, Alexa and Wyatt Mauer, along with many beloved nieces and nephews. June is also survived by her very special, lifelong friend, Barb Jarvey and her husband, Jerry Jarvey.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, William Woznick and Howard Dunlap, her parents, Catherine and Archie Wolfe, her brother, Ronald Wolfe, and numerous aunts and uncles.
