Angela Longsine

October 10, 1924 — September 7, 2016

Angela "Angie" Longsine, 91, beloved wife of the late Charles Longsine Jr., died peacefully on September 7, 2016 at AGI Healthcare of Crandon.

Angie was born on October 10, 1924 in Oconto, daughter of the late Clarence and Clara (Barribeau) Smith. She was a long time seasonal worker for Larsen Canning Company. She married the late Charles Longsine Jr. and they had 4 children one of which was stillborn. She loved doing crafts and enjoyed her family. She also loved playing BINGO.

She is survived by two children: Mary (Don) Counard and John (Betty) Longsine in addition to one sister: Patricia Sohrweide. Angie also leaves 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 23 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son, Robert Longsine, her sister, Donna Hearteau, brother, Jack Smith, and two grandchildren Robert and Judi Napier.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 11th from 1-3 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Avenue, Green Bay. A funeral service will follow at 3 PM in the funeral home. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd at Nicolet Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to AGI Healthcare of Crandon and Ministry Home Care Hospice for the wonderful care given to Angie.
