Allan "Pete" A. Peterson, 91, of Green Bay and formerly of Peshtigo, beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Borths) Peterson, died on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer's and Demenita at Cardinal Ridge Assisted Living with his family at his side.

Allan was born on September 3, 1929 in Marinette son of the late Arthur and Theresa (Stujenske) Peterson. He was the son of "Strawberry Peterson - Arthur Peterson" and grew up farming strawberries and tomatoes at Shore Drive Nursery. His Dad and him were also commercial fisherman on Lake Michigan and sold Christmas trees. He was a graduate of Marinette High School. He was drafted into the U.S. Army where he served as a PFC during the Korean Conflict. He was a later honorably discharged. As a true Patriot he was a proud member of the American Legion where he enjoyed playing cards with friends.

He returned to Marinette and married Marilyn Borths on May 8, 1954. He later moved to Peshtigo from Marinette where they raised their only child daughter Patti. Allan retired after over 30 years of service with Wisconsin Public Service as a Meter Reader and working in the Accounting Office. In his early years he loved to go camping with his family and especially at the Wisconsin Public Service Campground in Crivitz. He enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in Land O Lakes, WI. Allan enjoyed spending time outdoors, snowmobiling, and going out to the local Supper Clubs. He was always a "History Buff" and investing in the Stock Market and reading the Wall Street Journal daily. In his later years he really enjoyed daily breakfast at the Peshtigo Corral. Allan's family was especially close to his heart and he loved spending time with both his daughter, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter Pastor Patti Peterson - Bilotto, five grandchildren: Chris (Kendra) Bilotto, Andrea (Jeremy) Westphal, Nick Bilotto, Rachel (Jackson) Beelen, and Joanna Bilotto, along with seven great grandchildren: Madeline, Makensie, Gwen, Noah, Olivia, Noelle, and Ben, along with a sister-in-law Josie Peterson of Las Vegas. He is also survived by extended family, friends, and especially close friends Patsy, Jill, and Peetie. He is preceded in death by a brother, Donald Peterson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 12th from 2 PM - 3 PM at Lion of Judah Church, 512 9th Street, Green Bay. A funeral service will follow with full Military Honors at 3 PM in the church. A luncheon will follow the service at the church. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo on Monday, December 14th at 1 PM. Newcomer - Green Bay Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.

Allan's family wishes to thank the staff of Allouez Parkside Village, Cardinal Ridge Assisted Living and Heartland Hospice for the comfort and care they provided. The family would also like to thank the Honor Flight Program for the recognition of his service to our country with a trip to Washington DC.
