Alice Bero

Alice (Peterson) Bero, 95, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 25, 2021. She was born in Canton, OH, April 8, 1925, to the late John and Tillie (Walk) Peterson. She lived in Marinette, WI until her marriage to Jerry Bero on June 3, 1950.

Alice enjoyed time with family and friends. She was an avid Packer fan, golfer, bowler, card player and enjoyed family vacations in Vilas County and 40 years at the trailer in Gresham, WI. Alice was best known for her one-liners, enthusiasm for life and being the best wife & mother anyone could ask for.

Alice dedicated 40+ years to being a part-time bookkeeper for Packerland Business Equipment Corporation.

Survivors include her children, Gloria Bero, Scott (Karen) Bero, Penny (David) Duggan. Her grandchildren, Heidi (Karl) Kuhr, Tyler (Hannah Torzewski) Ninneman, Becky (Dan) Dempsey, Robin Bero. Her great grandchildren: Harlie, Ryder, Harper, Taniah, Olivia and Alaina. Alice was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

The Funeral Service for Alice will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Atonement Lutheran Church, 2132 Deckner Ave., Green Bay, with Pastor Dennis Ellisen officiating. Friends may call directly at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Nicolet Memorial Gardens. A memorial has been established to benefit local charities. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Wyndemere Assisted Living, Heartland Hospice and Doctor Jason Hoppe for their loving care.
