Alan S. DeBauche, 59, Green Bay, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015, surrounded by his family.
He was born on May 31, 1955, in Green Bay. He was raised by his adoptive parents, Clarence & Agatha DeBauche.
Al graduated from East High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard. He served for six years, reaching the rank of commander.
After being honorably discharged from the Coast Guard, Al went to work for Georgia Pacific in 1980. He retired from there in 2004.
He married Dawn Collins on April 22, 2002, in Green Bay.
Al was a huge Milwaukee Brewer and Green Bay Packer fan. He enjoyed watching dirt track racing, fishing and spending time at his cabin in Crivitz. Al adored his only granddaughter, Rilynn.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn; children, Brooke DeBauche, Don DeBauche and Jordan Collins; granddaughter, Rilynn; and siblings, Gary DeBauche and Robin DeBauche.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 6:45pm on Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay. A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday at the funeral home with Deacon Tom Mahoney officiating. Military honors will follow.
