Agnes M."Angie" Murphy

Agnes M. "Angie" Murphy, 89, Green Bay, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, February 16, 2014. She was born on July 26, 1924, in Green Bay to the late Thomas and Francis (Wygralak) Taylor. Angie married the love of her life, Maurice "Morris" Murphy in October of 1945. They had 6 children together and celebrated many years of marriage until Morris's passing on June 11, 2006.

Survivors include five children, Richard "Rick" (Gail), Daniel J. (Patricia Ann), Lynne, Christine (Lee), and Timothy P. (Holly); 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Delores Taylor; and many nieces and nephews.
Angie was preceded in death by her husband, Morris; her parents; son, Jeff; one grandson; and 12 brothers and sisters.

Family and friends may call Friday, February 21, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay, from 3:00pm until 5:00pm. A funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at the funeral home at 5:00pm with Rev. Ken De Groot O.Praem. officiating. Burial will be at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
