Adeline E. Neerdaels, 98, of Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013. She was born on August 24, 1915, in Oconto, to the late Otto and Emma (Henning) Funk. Adeline graduated from Oconto High School. On February 12, 1955, she married Maurice Neerdaels at Grace Lutheran Church.
Adeline worked at Green Bay Food Company for many years. She was a long-time resident of Green Bay and would snowbird to Harlingen, Texas for the last 40 years. Adeline enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and being part of the geology club.
Survivors include her son, Ronald (Marlene) Neerdaels; grandchildren: Sue (Greg) Lubinski, Julie Baird, Laura (Andrew) Farah, Charles (Natalia) and Michael (Jenni) Neerdaels, Mary (Pete) Bauer, Ron Jr. (Paula) Neerdaels, and Kevin (Rosa), Gareth Jr. (Renee), and Kelly Kuschel; 27 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Beverly Funk; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends Betty and Skinny.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice; daughter, Darlene (Gareth Sr.) Kuschel; 5 brothers; and 2 sisters.
Family and friends may call Saturday, October 19, 2013, at Grace Lutheran Church, 321 S. Madison St., Green Bay, from 9:00am until the time of service at 10:30am with Rev. Lary Lange officiating.
