Jordan Daniel Brunette

November 9, 1987 — March 11, 2023

Jordan Daniel Brunette, 35, found eternal peace with the Lord on March 11, 2023 after a long, heartbreaking battle with addiction. Jordan was born on November 9, 1987 to Laura Brunette (Turner) in Oconto, Wisconsin. He attended elementary school in Oconto and spent a lot of his time with his Grandparents, Faye and Daniel Brunette and his cousin who was more like a brother, Dan Brunette Jr. Jordan went to Preble High School in Green Bay and obtained his GED after his school days came to an end. Jordan had 2 boys that he loved with his whole heart and were often the main motivation he had to maintain his sobriety. They enjoyed playing basketball, catch outside, video games together and doing any other goofy things they could think of. His boys meant the world to him. He enjoyed time with his "Auntie", Shannon Wescott and family as well as his cousins Carter Wescott and Courtney Brunette. He was welcomed into many families because of the person he was and the kindness he showed to the world every day. Jordan was not defined by his addiction but rather his unexplainable sense of humor and his caring heart. As a coworker recently said "he may not have realized the impact he was making, but he was setting a standard on how to treat those around us." He always knew what to say and how to say it to make you smile or laugh. Jordan was an outstanding worker regardless of what the job was and would offer to help anyone in any situation. He had a passion for reading and has read thousands of books in his lifetime. When Jordan wasn't spending time with this family and friends, he was very often reading.

Jordan is survived by his 2 children, Dominique and Richard Brunette; Mother, Laura Turner (Pat); Grandmother Faye Brunette, the late Daniel Brunette and Dan Brunette Jr; Grandmother SanDee Brunette (Bernard Strebel); Grandmother Marion Schultz; Grandfather Donald Schultz; Great Grandmother, Joan Erieau and the late "Squeak" Erieau; Aunt Shannon Wescott (Mark); along with many other family and friends.

A celebration of Jordan's life will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to special friends Rachel Kohn and Nicole Pineda, The people at the Serenity House as well as everyone at Manna for Life all who believed in Jordan and all who saw him for the amazing person he was. This horrible disease does not discriminate and will destroy everyone in its path if given the opportunity. In honor of Jordan's life we ask that you please keep his memory alive by sharing his story and reach out immediately if you are in desperation and need help.
